Technical documentation is needed at two very different moments. The first is while working: one looks for a parameter, a range, the procedure for a measurement mode. The second is when an auditor or a client arrives asking to demonstrate the instrument’s conformity, and then documents are needed that nobody ever consults until that day — CE declarations, EMC reports, calibration certificates.
For the first case we chose not to build a separate archive: datasheets and manuals are on the page of the model they refer to, at the bottom of the page. Whoever looks for the CMX2-DL manual finds it on the CMX2-DL page, without going through a general list where one must already know what to look for.
Need help choosing the right product?
For the second case the route is different: declarations of conformity and test reports are documents that must refer to the serial number of your instrument and to the configuration supplied. You ask us for them, and we send them to you.

Language of the manuals
The original Dakota NDT operating manuals are in English. For some models the manufacturer publishes a multilingual user guide. If a passage is not clear, our technical office assists you with the interpretation: it is part of the official distributor service, and it is often quicker than a translation.
Documentation for audits and quality systems
If you must submit documentation to a certification body or a client, tell us which requirement you have to meet as well as the model: very often what is needed is not the manual but the declaration of conformity or the current calibration certificate.
