What the client receives is not the measurement: it is the report. It is the document on which decisions will be taken, and it is the only tangible product of the inspection work.
- ✓ Import of the readings via USB or Bluetooth®, with no transcription
- ✓ Data organised by project and by inspection point
- ✓ Statistics and charts built from the stored readings
- ✓ A final document consistent from one campaign to the next
The quality of an inspection report is decided before the writing, in the way the data was collected. Readings identified and stored on the instrument reach the computer already in order; readings noted down by hand have to be transcribed again, and every transcription is an opportunity for an error the client will not be able to check.
Import via USB or Bluetooth® removes that step. The readings enter DakMaster™ with their original structure, organised by project and by point, and stay tied to the setup file they were acquired with.

From there the work becomes analysis. The software computes the statistics on the batch of readings, produces the charts and allows comparison with earlier campaigns: it is the step that turns a table of numbers into an assessment of the trend, which is what the client is actually buying.
What a useful report contains
| Content | What it gives the client |
|---|---|
| Identification of the measured points | Finding the same points again at the next campaign |
| Readings taken and minimum value | Comparison with the minimum allowable thickness |
| Comparison with earlier campaigns | Calculation of the thinning rate |
| Instrument and configuration used | Repeatability and verifiability of the measurement |
| Calibration reference | Formal validity of the reported figure |
Consistency between campaigns

A report gains value when it can be compared with the earlier ones. Keeping the same structure of points, the same identifiers and the same measurement setup lets the client read the trend over time instead of just the snapshot of the day.
For an inspection company this is also a commercial advantage: whoever delivers a consistent series becomes the natural supplier for the next campaign, because they are the only one who can give continuity to the history.

Through a USB or Bluetooth® connection, according to the model. The readings keep the structure they were stored with on the instrument.
Yes, provided the points are identified in the same way. That is why it is worth defining the structure of the points at the first campaign and keeping it over time.
