La temp\u00e9rature devient alors une variable du contr\u00f4le \u00e0 part enti\u00e8re, et agit sur trois plans distincts : la tenue du traducteur, la tenue du couplant et l&rsquo;exactitude de la valeur lue. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le premier plan concerne le traducteur. Le cristal pi\u00e9zo\u00e9lectrique et les mat\u00e9riaux qui l&rsquo;entourent ont un seuil au-del\u00e0 duquel leurs caract\u00e9ristiques changent de fa\u00e7on permanente : un traducteur ordinaire laiss\u00e9 pos\u00e9 sur une surface tr\u00e8s chaude se d\u00e9grade. Cette vitesse d\u00e9pend de la temp\u00e9rature du mat\u00e9riau : un \u00e9talonnage r\u00e9alis\u00e9 \u00e0 temp\u00e9rature ambiante et appliqu\u00e9 \u00e0 une paroi chaude produit donc une valeur syst\u00e9matiquement d\u00e9cal\u00e9e, d&rsquo;autant plus que l&rsquo;\u00e9cart thermique est grand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les appareils dot\u00e9s de compensation thermique corrigent automatiquement cette d\u00e9rive : sur la s\u00e9rie CMX il s&rsquo;agit du mode PETP.
