Aucune des deux n&rsquo;est visible tant qu&rsquo;elle ne devient pas grave, et la peinture qui prot\u00e8ge la t\u00f4le est aussi ce qui emp\u00eache de la voir. Les visites p\u00e9riodiques pr\u00e9vues par les registres de classification reposent donc sur des campagnes de mesure d&rsquo;\u00e9paisseur \u00e9tendues, sur des grilles de points d\u00e9finies \u00e0 l&rsquo;avance et r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9es \u00e0 chaque visite.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La contrainte pratique est que ces mesures doivent \u00eatre prises sur la peinture : sabler pour mesurer revient \u00e0 d\u00e9truire la protection pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment l\u00e0 o\u00f9 elle est n\u00e9cessaire. Un \u00e9paisseurm\u00e8tre dot\u00e9 du mode <strong>Echo-Echo<\/strong> r\u00e9sout le probl\u00e8me \u00e0 la racine, car il mesure la distance entre deux \u00e9chos internes au m\u00e9tal et la couche de peinture reste hors du calcul.
