La primera es una norma, la segunda un programa de acreditaci\u00f3n. Conviene mantenerlas separadas, porque responden a dos preguntas distintas: qu\u00e9 hace falta para cualificar al personal, y qui\u00e9n verifica que esos requisitos se apliquen realmente.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">EN 4179 forma parte de la serie aeroespacial y se titula <em>\u201cAerospace series &#8211; Qualification and approval of personnel for non-destructive testing\u201d<\/em>, es decir, \u00abSerie aeroespacial \u2014 Cualificaci\u00f3n y aprobaci\u00f3n del personal para ensayos no destructivos\u00bb. Sobre esto la posici\u00f3n de la FAA es expl\u00edcita: <em>\u201cEN 4179, as published, is technically equivalent to AIA NAS-410\u201d<\/em>, es decir, \u00abEN 4179, tal como est\u00e1 publicada, es t\u00e9cnicamente equivalente a AIA NAS-410\u00bb. Para los ensayos no destructivos, la auditor\u00eda verifica los registros del personal frente a los criterios de NAS 410, EN 4179 y del propio Nadcap, seg\u00fan la referencia AC7114. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En t\u00e9rminos pr\u00e1cticos esto significa que, en una auditor\u00eda, no basta con afirmar que los operadores est\u00e1n cualificados: hay que mostrar los registros, es decir, la documentaci\u00f3n que vincula a cada persona con el m\u00e9todo, el nivel y la decisi\u00f3n de aprobaci\u00f3n. La preparaci\u00f3n documental cuenta tanto como la competencia t\u00e9cnica. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El equipamiento entra tambi\u00e9n en el cuadro, a trav\u00e9s de sus propios certificados de calibraci\u00f3n y la correspondiente trazabilidad metrol\u00f3gica, de la que tratamos en la p\u00e1gina <a href=\"https:\/\/ultrasuonindt.it\/es\/tecnologias-y-normas-end\/qualifica-di-personale-e-strumenti\/trazabilidad-nist-y-mil-std-45662a\/\">Trazabilidad NIST y MIL-STD-45662A<\/a>.
